Set in an authoritarian world where the Capital holds a brutal competition pitting sacrifices from each district in a fight to the death every year as a display of power, Katniss Everdeen is just trying to keep herself and her family alive. This book is almost impossible to put down. Great for both heavy readers and those who may have never picked up a book before.
